Lucas Browne eyeing a big Trans-Tasman clash with former WBO champion Joesph Parker
Both fighters were in deep talks to stage the fight last year. That all ended once an agreement with unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua was reached for their unification bout.
Both men at the time were undefeated. With both guys now losing their perfect records, a fight between the two makes a lot of sense.
Parker recently suffered his second consecutive loss in losing a decision to Dillian Whyte last month. Browne suffered his first loss in brutal fashion as he was viciously knocked out by Dillian Whyte back in May.
However, this fight will likely have to wait as both men have plans for the rest of this year. Browne is scheduled to return September 29 against Julius Long.
Parker is likely to return later this year against an opponent that’s yet to be determined.
