Eubank Jr Beatdown Szeremeta As Conor Benn Maybe Next
In a middleweight showdown, Chris Eubank Jr. (34-3, 25KO) beatdown Kamil Szeremeta (25-3-2, 8KO) to score the seventh-round stoppage.
Things started fast as Eubank scored a knockdown after landing the overhand right. Yet, he fought well behind the jab before getting hurt from a countershot by being too aggressive.
The Brit threw a barrage of punches that put Szeremeta on the backfoot. Eubank’s offense was momentarily halted after getting hit by a hard countershot again from being over-aggressive.
As the fight continued, Eubank Jr. finally listened to the corner and used that can’t-miss jab. He even showed improvement fighting on the inside by landing several uppercuts. In round 9, he came close to ending the fight after landing several uppercuts that put the Polishman back on the canvas.
It quickly turned into a one-sided beatdown as he dropped Szeremeta two more times from body shots, forcing the referee to stop the fight. All eyes immediately turned to Conor Benn and Eubanks. Their in-ring face-off better lead to them fighting, as the two men exchanged insults.
