Dalton Smith Sinks Zepeda and Calls Out Adam Azim!
During his last tour of duty, junior welterweight boxer Dalton “Thunder” Smith (16-0, 12 KO’s) captured an impressive knockout win. To accomplish this, Smith sank veteran fighter Jose “Chon” Zepeda (37-5-0, 28 KO’s) to his knees with a vicious fight-ending right hook body shot in the fifth. To capitalize on the moment, the number eight (WBC) fighter put out an APB for Adam “The Assassin” Azim (11-0, 8 KO’s).
While conducting his post-fight interview, Smith wasted little time in calling out his next desired foe.
“I don’t call many names out, but I’ve got one name; Adam Azim, where are you at?!”
LET THEM FIGHT!
If this duel became an actual reality, this would pit two prospects eyed by 3Kings Boxing against one another. Dalton Smith has proven himself to be more than merely a heavy-handed brute. Born and raised in Sheffield, Yorkshire, UK, Thunder was able to equip himself with a nifty jab, serviceable footwork, hasty knuckles and a handsome variety of punch combinations.
With this latest win, the all UK brawl could be a big event for the victor and a deflating loss to the conquered. Meanwhile, Adam Azim, who hails from Slough, Berkshire, UK, has also verified that he is a solid fighter to watch for. He also can move nimbly around the squared-circle, has fast hands and a solid IQ when plying his trade.
While he is still growing his skills and resume, Azim has claimed a few quality, scalps considering his level of development. In fact, he has garnered enough buzz to be called out by the very talented Keyshawn Davis. First however, let’s wait and see if Azim bites on the bait and shows interest in the high stakes clash.
This could all be much ado over nothing, or it could be the beginning of a great showdown. Let’s hope it’s the latter! In any case, stay tuned to 3Kings Boxing for all things boxing.
