Oscar De La Hoya Accused of Sexual Battery, Again

3kingsboxing has learned that former multidivisional champion and owner of Golden Boy Promotions, Oscar De La Hoya has been accused of sexual assault. As first reported by TMZ, De La Hoya is being sued for an incident that transpired in 2017. The Jane Doe plaintiff has officially filed charges with the LA County Superior Court and the charges are rather gruesome!

DE LA HOYA ACCUSED, AGAIN

Jane Doe reportedly works as a licensed vocational nurse. According to the plaintiff, the two met and engaged in a mutually consenting sexual relationship in 2016. Their interactions proceeded without mishap until things took a drastic turn for the worse in November 2017. That’s when Doe claims that De La Hoya would turn vicious after inviting her back to his new home in Pasadena.

This is where Jane Doe states that the Golden Boy top dog would repeatedly ask her to engage in sexual experimentation that she was not comfortable doing. The plaintiff also indicated that De La Hoya had a bag of cocaine and was highly intoxicated. As per Doe’s retelling, the former fighter grew tired of trying to convince her to participate. Consequently, he held her down with one arm while trying to push his fist into her vagina.

Despite repeatedly telling him ‘no’, De La Hoya was successful, which in turn caused the woman to scream in pain. In response to her agony, she claims he laughed and told her to take a shot of alcohol. Following the traumatic encounter, Jane Doe sought medical treatment at an urgent care center.

Attorney Greg Kirakosian would file her legal complaint. Kirakosian is demanding unspecified damages for sexual assault, sexual battery, gender violence, negligence and intentional infliction of emotional distress. At the present time, neither Oscar De La Hoya nor anyone from Golden Boy Promotions has spoken on the matter.

A TROUBLED PAST

Sadly, this is not the first accusation of unlawful drug use or sexual battery for the promoter. Earlier in October, David Gonzalez, a famous radio personality in LA, would sue him for being mistreated. In this case, Gonzalez accuses De La Hoya of asking him to “perform a wide range of highly personal, improper and elicit non-work-related duties.”

Last year, Oscar De La Hoya made headlines when it was reported that two Instagram models were extorting him for money. Apparently, they had duped him into obtaining footage depicting De La Hoya with kitchen utensils inserted into his anus. The situation swelled to the point that the FBI began an investigation into the women’s apparent extortion scheme. The Golden Boy founder was involved in a somewhat similar photo scandal in 2007.

During that now infamous episode, photos of De La Hoya clad in fishnet stockings, high heels and panties were leaked by Milana Dravnel. Oscar was, at the time, conducting an extramarital affair with Dravnel. Initially, De La Hoya vigorously denied the claim and maintained that the pictures were photo-shopped. Yet, in time, he not only would admit the legitimacy of the pictures, but paid Dravnel an undetermined sum of money as settlement.

This most recent scandal is another seriously incriminating black eye of the decorated boxer who has openly struggled with substance abuse for years. Oscar De Lay Hoya was also accused of the rape and kidnap of a female in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The alleged victim was 15 years old at the time of the reported 1998 attack. The case was eventually settled in 2001.
