De La Hoya Recommends DAZN for Golovkin
Former unified middleweight champion Gennedy Golovkin is still looking for a home network. Fans and promoters continue waiting to see what decision will be made.
Golovkin’s choice seemingly will impact a big money fights with unified champion Canelo Alvarez.
Golden Boy Promotions’ Oscar De La Hoya issued an ultimatum to the former champion. If he wants a third fight with Canelo, he should sign with DAZN.
The Kazakhstani fighter has many options, including Showtime and Top Rank/ESPN. However, none of them can provide that one lucrative bout.
“Well if he wants to fight Canelo for the third time he has to come to DAZN.
“But look I already separated May 4th at the T-Mobile arena for Canelo there is no opponent yet, I’m not even thinking about anybody yet.”

Regardless of how anyone feels, that fight is still worth a lot financially. It also continues to peak the interest of boxing fans.
