Devin Haney vs Gary Russell Jr May Be Next!
Things are heating up between WBC lightweight champion Devin “The Dream” Haney (24-0, 15KOs) and WBC featherweight champion Gary Russell Jr (31-1, 18KOs)!
These two men have been going back and forth through social media as of late. Russell put the pressure on Haney to accept a fight. After an offer the offer was received, team Haney came out and pretty much insinuated the featherweight champ wasn’t serious about the fight.

However, things appeared to have turned in the direction of this bout possibly happening! The unbeaten lightweight champion took to social media to debunk Russell’s acquisitions that stipulations were being added into the contract. Of course, stipulations that the featherweight champion wasn’t in favor of.
“I got the 1.5! No stipulations, just rematch clause, I’m ready to beat yo ass!”
With Haney now agreeing to the money for the fight, the onus is on Russell to put up or shut up!
