Trainer Stephen Edwards takes issue with Tim Bradley’s rant!
In today’s boxing, social media can be a very powerful tool. It can help with hyping up a fight, increasing a fighters’ popularity or reaching a lot of people in order to get information out as quick as possible.
There was bound to be some backlash when former two-divisional champion Timothy “Desert Storm” Bradley, went on a televised tirade; calling out Premier Boxing Champion promoted fighters for locking the door behind them on WBO champion Terence “Bud” Crawford.
The opening statement is what has sparked heavy criticism.
“The only real man over at PBC is Wilder!”
This ignited a fire under Stephen “Breadman” Edwards, trainer for unified junior middleweight champion Julian “J-Rock” Williams.
The normally mild-mannered trainer went into even more details when challenged on the topic.
Bradley has every right to want to see his fellow Top Rank brother get into the mix. The lack of opponents is the very reason for the decline on the pound for pound list the WBO champion has suffered from many pundits.
