Ryan Garcia trolls Gervonta Davis, Davis isn’t laughing

Golden Boy Promotions top lightweight prospect Ryan “KingRy” Garcia (20-0, 17ko) is being groomed as the heir to the Canelo Alvarez throne. The California fighter has extremely high potential and is vicious in the ring, evident by knocking out his last two opponents. However, recently he has displayed a more funny side that had everyone on social media dying.

Well not everyone.

KingRy took to social media and posted an exceptionally funny skit about WBA “regular” champion Gervonta “Tank” Davis (23-0, 22ko) as an overweight fighter sleeping on a couch worried about Garcia’s devastating left hook.

This video went viral all over the boxing community it had everyone laughing. Furthermore, it became obvious that Garcia feels he can beat Tank and that these two guys will have to meet in the ring at some point.

STILL LOOKING FOR A FIGHT

This shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone if you have been following this situation. The young California prospect has exchanged verbal jabs with the two-divisional Baltimore champion before.

Garcia once even called out the Baltimore champion, looking for a fight now instead of later. Tank didn’t hesitate to respond, letting the young California fighter know his time will come, just chill.

There was the time when KingRy went after his rival about a very public domestic issue. Moreover, that incident was caught on tape where the WBA “regular” champion had an altercation with the mother of his child.

TAUNTING THE CHAMP

Okay, by now you can pretty much guess how this played out.

Tank didn’t find the funny-natured video remotely amusing and made it clear with a tweet that got straight to the point.

Now things got very interesting at this point because CEO of Mayweather promotions Leonard Ellerbe responded about the video also. Furthermore, not backing down, Garcia clapped right back.
