Leonard Ellerbe Makes Starting Offer to Lou DiBella for Davis vs Farmer Clash
Fans may finally get clarity in the super featherweight division as it appears Leonard Ellerbe of Mayweather Promotions has sent an offer to IBF champion Tevin Farmer’s co-promoter Lou DiBella. The agreement would pit him against WBA champion Gervonta “Tank” Davis.
This fight has been three years in the making and the conditions to make this fight are as good as they’ll ever be!
Both Farmer and Davis last fought on July 30. Each were victorious and immediately called each other out thereafter. It seems that Floyd Mayweather and Tank have finally turned the corner on their sometimes tumultuous relationship.
Therefore, it seems the trust is there to allow Davis to step up the competition!
Farmer has just completed his DAZN contract with somewhat mixed results. Career-wise, he’s gained a title and defended it four times in less than a year making him the most active champion int he sport. This would respectively raise his profile, however, his level of competition has been questionable as well.
Nevertheless, Farmer has positioned himself to get some of the higher profile fights he covets.
Therefore, fight flat out needs to happen! Fans and pundits are no longer entertained by the ongoing social media beef between the two.
At one point it was funny, but now it’s just redundant. It’s do or die now for this fight!
