Flanagan enters his name in the 140 pound tournament!
Following his first career defeat last month, Terry Flanagan has been announced as an entrant in the upcoming WBSS junior welterweight tournament. He enters as one of the final two participants. His first loss came by way of split decision to former WBO lightweight champion Maurice Hooker.
Flanagan, who is looking to rebound, is entering a stacked tournament at this stage. Notably, he comes in behind featured favorites Regis Prograis and Josh Taylor.
Soon, all participants of the Bantamweight and Super-Lightweight editions of Season II will come face-to-face.
The date: Friday, July 20.
The place: Draft Gala at the Rossiya Theatre in Moscow, Russia.
