In his latest prizefight, super middleweight contender Darius “DFG” Fulghum (14-0, 12 KO’s) collected a one-sided TKO win over a game but outgunned Winfred Harris (22-3, 10 KO’s). Fulghum opened the bout by jumping right in his opponent’s face and putting him on the back foot with an effective jab and thumping right hands.

Things went from bad to worse for Harris who was bullied, roughed up and dropped in the second round. Sadly, the only real points Harris could be given is for his heart. This is because his defense, in-ring IQ and effective offense did not make an appearance. Instead, during the third round, Harris was bounced.

In fact, there is an argument that even without a knockdown, this was a 10/8 round. Seeing that he was only being battered and his body was visibly limp and severely impaired, referee Ray Corona called a halt to the action in the fourth.

Fulghum revealed that he needs to work on his patience and accuracy, as he technically could have ended the action earlier had he not gummed up his own offense in patches by chasing the kill too hard.
