Jarrell Miller Continues to Dig at Daniel Dubois

In his second and final fight of the year, boisterous and controversial heavyweight fighter Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller (26-0-1, 22 KO’s) will take on the rough-knuckled “Dynamite” Daniel Dubois (19-2, 18 KO’s). Of the two, Miller is by leaps and bounds the more vocal of the two combatants. Throughout the build-up, Big Baby has ridiculed, mocked and belittled Dubois at every turn. At the final presser however, Miller took his foot off the gas a bit but still managed to get a couple straggling digs.

“Tune in Saturday, I am going to cook this shrimp, this two-time quitter! Listen, it’s funny – after the Usyk fight, I heard he finally got some vagina. So I am happy for you and I applaud you that you know what the gushy-gushy feels like, but I am going to make your face feel mushy-mushy come Saturday night!”

FOURTH TIME A CHARM?!

Of course, Miller is making reference to Dubois’s last match, and defeat, at the hands of unified heavyweight champion Usyk. That also marked his second loss by way of stoppage, which is why Miller dubbed him a “two-time quitter”. This is very much a stigma that has been shuttered to his name since first losing to Joe Joyce. If Big Baby is able to stop him within the distance, it very well may be the death knell of Dynamite’s career.

For his part, Miller is still trying to rebuild his name since his last, and third, suspension for PED use. Now that he is going on his fourth fight in his comeback, it appears that Miller is officially back in the mix within the heavyweight division. Well back in 2019, Big Baby had a signed contract to face then unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua. Yet, that all fell apart when he was initially flagged for banned substances.

Now, it appears that this troubled water is seemingly under the bridge once again. Ranked #6 (WBA), Miller is on the edge of landing a major fight. Some would argue the duel with Dubois is a major clash, yet, due to the skepticism that Dynamite is regarded with these days, this has more the feel of a set-up bout. So, let’s see if Dubois can get out of the loser’s bracket or if Miller can finally consecrate the ring with one of the elite of the division. Either way, 3Kings Boxing will be here to report the news.
