Tyson Fury claps back at Dillian Whyte
Now that boxing is back and making progress, fighters are kicking things up even more with going at each other on social media. All the fighters should be extremely eager to get back into the ring after the COVID-19 layoff.
LOOKING BACK
WBC mandatory challenger Dillian “The Body Snatcher” Whyte (27-1, 18ko) has been stocking the flames going after the organization’s champion Tyson “Gypsy King” Fury (30-1-1, 21ko). The British mandatory has even revealed that once in sparring he got the best of the WBC champion.
In boxing circles, this has always been known as a ‘violation of the code’. Sparring is like Vegas; what happens there stays there. However, feeling upset over the Gypsy King’s comments of annihilating him, The Body Snatcher felt the need to spill the beans in hopes of getting at the champion.
THE CLAP BACK
If you know anything about the charismatic champion, he is never at a loss for words and can clap back with the best of them. Since Whyte decided to violate the code, it makes sense that Fury would return the favor, and boy did he ever.
Tyson Fury took to social media revealing a message he sent the mandatory challenger back in 2019.
Okay, this is where things should stop. Instead, it only got better.
Fury’s message was an uplifting spiritual message that should have put things into perspective. However, the British mandatory wasn’t falling for it.
Whyte took to social media responding in true Body Snatcher fashion.
It safe to say that until the mandatory challenger gets his title opportunity, he isn’t going be quiet or ignored at all.
