Tyson Fury returns September 14 against Otto Wallin!

3kingsboxing.com has learned that former unified heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (28-0-1, 20KO) will take on undefeated Swedish contender Otto Wallin (20-0, 13KO) on September 14 in Las Vegas!

After names like Jarrell Miller, Charles Martin and Trevor Bryan were all mentioned as possible opponents. All of which are American fighters that both Bob Arum and Tyson Fury were looking so hard for. Yet its the Swedish fighter that gets the call.

This will be Fury’s second consecutive fight against, though undefeated, an unproven fighter. His last bout came against undefeated German Tom Schawrz. He won that fight with ease as he quickly dismantled his opponent in two rounds.

Wallin is slightly more known than the German foe. He is a 6’5 southpaw who made his American debut on the under-card of the Claressa Shields vs Christina Hammer in April. The fight was supposed to serve as his “coming out party” but a clash of heads ended the bout with a “No Contest” before he could get started!

Looking at his resume, there’s no noticeable names that stick out to suggest he’s a guy who can make this a competitive fight.

For what it’s worth, since Fury has returned from his nearly three year hiatus, he has fought four times since June of 2018.

Regardless, lets be real! On paper, Wallin is a guy who couldn’t hold the mitts for Fury let alone beat him! This does go without saying, however, that Charles Martin may not have been much of a better choice!
