Garcia to face Granados in 2019!
Former two division world champion Danny Garcia will look to get back to his winning ways next year. His first opportunity will be against fringe contender Adrian Granados on April 20.
Garcia’s last ring appearance was in September. There, he lost a unanimous decision to Shawn Porter for the vacant WBC welterweight title.
Granados is no stranger to facing the upper echelon fighters in his division. He’s been in the ring with Adrien Broner, Shawn Porter and Felix Diaz among others.
No one has been able to stop Granados in 29 fights. Although, the same can be said for Danny Garcia in 36 fights. With both men owning elite level chins, this bout figures to be a war of attrition!
