Jack Rafferty Takes Out Henry Turner in Nine!
In a battle featuring two undefeated junior welterweight fighters, Jack “The Demolishing Man” Rafferty (24-0, 15KO) rallied in the late rounds to score the stoppage against Henry “The Showman” Turner (13-1, 5KO).
The Showman was sharp and boxed beautiful, which confused The Demolishing Man. His footwork, jab, combination punching, and accuracy were on point. Turner couldn’t miss and did a good job of keeping his foot in position so he could move away from any returning attack.
Rafferty finally did well cutting off the ring to land a few solid right-hands. However, Turner quickly adjusted to regain control of the fight and targeted a cut on the Rafferty’s forehead. Turner spent a lot of energy in the middle rounds moving around the ring. Rafferty followed his opponent around the ring, waiting to land any significant punch.
The Demolishing Man changed things around in the ninth round with a relentless body attack that hurt Turner. He kept landing brutal punches that finally put Turner on the canvas. Although he survived the round, Turner’s corner stopped the fight as Rafferty screamed with joy.
