Jack Turner Crushes Juan Urbina In Three Rounds!
In his latest prizefight, the undefeated Jack “El Terrier” Turner (14-0, 13 KO’s) picked up his seventh consecutive knockout victory. The heavy-handed super flyweight boxer accomplished this by steamrolling Juan Urbina (10-4-1, 4 KO’s) en route to a third-round TKO.
Right from the start, the UK fighter’s crunching punches were causing Urbina a great deal of difficulty. So much so that in the closing seconds of the opening rounds, El Terrier sat the Nicaraguan bruiser down on the seat of his pants with a thudding shot. While continuing to absorb punishment, without being able to drum up that much of his own offense, Urbina resorted to aggressive holding.
The holding became so egregious that referee John Latham took a point in the third. Following the action, at the conclusion of the third round, Urbina opted to retire on his stool, refusing to come out for the fourth.
This was another solid win for Turner who entered the duel ranked #8 (WBA) and #10 (WBO). It will be interesting to see what move Team Turner has in store for El Terrier. Until those machinations are revealed, stay tuned to 3Kings Boxing for all the latest and greatest in pugilism.
