Jared Anderson Harbors No Interest in Battling Jarrell Miller
In a recent plea to secure a significant showdown, heavyweight fighter Jared “Big Baby” Miller (26-1-1, 22 KO’s) called out Jared “The Real Big Baby” Anderson (17-0, 15 KO’s) in a social media post. Within that plea, Miller reasoned that they could officially duke it out for final ownership of the moniker of “Big Baby”.
While this might have sounded like a sweet proposition to Miller’s ears, Anderson was having none of it. In his retort, which he also presented through social media, Anderson both, rejected the notion of a fight and claimed that the call out was merely the actions of a desperate and destitute competitor.
BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME
While The Real Big Baby’s rebuttal was curt and dismissive, it might not have been far from the truth. To begin, at the moment, Miller is stationed at a very low and rather embarrassing point in his career. Not only is he one of the most prolific caught drug cheats in the sport, he is coming off a tenth round TKO loss to UK boxer Daniel Dubois. To add insult to injury, Big Baby is only several months removed from a very embarrassing carjacking attempt gone wrong.
When adding all these abysmal elements up, it’s not hard to understand why Anderson thumbed his nose at the notion of a duel. Conversely, Anderson’s star is very much on the rise as he is shopping around for increasingly bigger fights to continue propelling his career further skyward.
If given his way, rather than dance with Miller, Anderson would much rather test his might versus Zhilei Zhang. Unfortunately for The Real Big Baby however, Zhang appears to have his attention fixed upon different adversaries. So, for the time being, we will have to wait and see what and who is next for Anderson. Yet, since both are still active in the division, you can rest assured that this is not the final chapter, or session of trash talk, shared by the two bitter antagonists.
