Khalil Coe Claims Narrow Win Over An Aggressive Jesse Hart!

Khalil Coe Solidifies His Position in Light Heavyweight Rankings

Khalil Coe Edges Jesse Hart In Hard Fought Scrap

In his first showdown of the year, light heavyweight fighter Khalil “Big Steppa” Coe (11-1-1, 8 KO’s) claimed a majority decision win over Jesse “Hard Work” Hart (31-3, 25 KO’s). To begin the affair, Hart launched out of his corner full of vigor and throwing punches with nasty intent. This aggressiveness worked very well for him. Hart was able to strongarm many of the opening rounds.

Yet, when the bout hit the halfway mark, Hard Work suffered a significant dip in energy which stripped the mustard off most of his punches. This severe shift in gears allotted Coe the opportunity he needed to get back in the battle and then ultimately surpass Hart on the scorecards.

With the win under his belt, Big Steppa, ranked #14 (WBC), can begin plotting on the next conquest. Within the WBC light heavyweight bracket, there is also #11 Anthony Yarde, #8 Zach Parker and #4 David Morrell. Any of these boxers would make for fantastic opportunities for Coe, although it remains to be seen if he can secure any of those fights.
