Jorge Linares preparing for another big fight!
Three-divisional champion Jorge Linares (47-5, 29KO) is hitting the bag hard to the body and you can bet he had a mental picture of Golden Boy Promotions top prospect Ryan Garcia (20-0, 17KO) in his head.
The two have been negotiating for a potential showdown in July which would be a major boost to the career of Golden Boy “golden goose” Garcia should he become victorious. Linares last fought on the Garcia’s under-card when the latter destroyed lightweight contender Francisco Fonseca in one round on Valentines Day.
He would defeat Carlos Morales by fourth round knockout, which would be his second comeback win after making a crucial decision to move up in weight and suffer a brutal first round knockout loss to Pablo Cesar Cano.
