Rising lightweight contender Ryan Garcia (20-0, 17KO) gives an update from his perspective on what WBA “Regular” lightweight champion Gervonta Davis (23-0, 22KO) has been doing during boxing’s quarantine due to COVID-19!
It is well documented that the two do not like each other dating back to the amateur days. The Golden Boy Promotions contender has been pressing for a fight with the two-time junior lightweight champion and even mentioned he would like it to happen by December of 2020!
However at the moment, the two seem to be moving down separate paths away from each other as the WBA regular champ is looking to face junior lightweight champion Leo Santa Cruz. Meanwhile, Garcia is looking for a career boosting moment against three-division champions Jorge Linares or Abner Mares.
