Teofimo Lopez returns against Diego Magdaleno

3kingsboxing has learned rising prospect Teofimo Lopez (11-0, 9KOs) will face experienced veteran Diego Magdaleno (31-2, 13KOs).

After a one-punch, first round knockout win over Mason Menard on December 8, the spotlight intensified on the rising star.

The 21 year-old, Brooklyn born fighter is in the kind of fight that will catapult him from prospect to contender.

Magdaleno (32), is a former two-division world title contender looking to get another bite at the apple. He is coming off a three-fight win streak.

The southpaw will be at an height and power disadvantage, however, enjoys advantages in reach and experience.

His experience can help him provide some tactics the younger challenger has yet to deal with as a pro.
