Usyk Will Capture Undisputed Crown By Beating Dubois Or Parker
Unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14KO) will beat IBF champion Daniel “Dynamite Dubois (22-2, 21KO or Joseph Parker (35-3, 23KO) with ease to become a two-time undisputed champion.
On December 21, Usyk proved that his first victory over two-heavyweight champion Tyson Fury wasn’t a fluke. The Ukrainian defeated Fury for a second time, but this time he did it more convincingly. After twelve long rounds, all three judges scored it 116-112.
Immediately, fans and pundits want to know what’s next. During the post-fight interview in the ring, Dynamite stepped in demanding a rematch.
“I want my revenge, Usyk. Well done on tonight, well done, God bless. I want my revenge for the robbery last time.” – Daniel Dubois
HE QUICKLY ACCEPTED THE CHALLENGE
Usyk wasn’t about to back down from a challenge and quickly told Turki Alalshikh to make it happen.
“Your Excellency, make me fight with Dubois. Thank you so much.” – Oleksandr Usyk
Dubois has come a long way since mentally checking out against Usyk in their first encounter. He landed a body shot that dropped the unified champion, but the referee ruled the punch a low blow.
His confidence is riding high after stopping two-time champion Anthony “AJ” Joshua on September 21. However, he still isn’t good enough to defeat Usyk, who is fighting on an even higher level. It’s worth mentioning Dubois has an upcoming showdown against one-time champion Joseph Parker on February 22, 2025.
Even if Parker walks out of the ring victorious, he stands an even lesser chance of beating the unified champion. Yes, Parker is a solid boxer with good movement, but he would struggle Usyk’s ability to use the angles and overall volume punching.
Understand this version of Usyk looks unbeatable despite being 37 years old. So, boxing fans should prepare to witness the Ukrainian becoming a two-time undisputed champion in 2025.
