Oscar Collazo Stops Haro And Targets Rematch With Jerusalem!

In his latest tour of duty, unified minimumweight champion Oscar “El Pupilo” Collazo (14-0, 11 KO’s) fought and stopped overwhelmed challenger Jesus “Chiquito” Haro (13-4, 2 KO’s). The duel stood as Collazo’s third defense of the WBA strap and seventh of his WBO title.

Haro was ill-equipped to overthrow the champion. Following six rounds of being hammered in various tender gut parts, Chiquito abruptly quit on his stool. Before leaving the ring, Collazo made it clear that it was his intention to collect the final two belts to become the undisputed champion of the division.

Going a step further, El Pupilo let it be known that he meant to first target WBC 105-pound champion Melvin “El Gringo” Jerusalem (25-3, 12 KO’s). Collazo originally defeated Jerusalem back on May 27, 2023 to initially take possession of the WBO title. It will be revealing to see how Team Jerusalem responds to this public declaration. Or will Collazo slide through the ring ropes to face IBF minimumweight champion Pedro Taduran? Only time will tell. In the meantime, stay tuned to 3Kings Boxing for all the latest and greatest in the sport.
