Rumor Mill: Pacquiao could be in for a big 2019!
There’s rumors circulating that WBA regular welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao has signed a two fight deal with powerful adviser Al Haymon. In addition, he may face Adrien Broner in January on Pay-Per-View.
Before you get too excited remember this is just a rumor for now. Pacquiao has also been linked to Mikey Garcia, Amir Khan and most recently, a rematch with Floyd Mayweather in December.
This fight has been talked about before when the nine-time champion was promoted by Top Rank and Bob Arum. With the two fighters potentially advised by the same entity, this fight should be easier to make.
For Broner, this would be yet another huge opportunity for him, he’d get a chance to face a future Hall of Famer and win a secondary belt at welterweight.
