Andy Ruiz Jr issues a warning to Whyte

If you are a major shareholder in any social media platform, then you’re undoubtedly smiling from ear to ear. Furthermore, the COVID-19 pandemic has pushed the need for the use of even more platforms.

This brings us to the WBC mandatory heavyweight challenger Dillian “The Body Snatcher” Whyte (27-1, 18ko). When it comes to characters and trolling, the 32-year-old Brixton fighter can hold his own. Moreover, he remains in the conversation when discussing a title fight.

CHASING THE TITLE

The Body Snatcher’s troubles with the WBC are well-documented. He is finally in a position where the title fight is all but imminent. Moreover, he isn’t afraid to go after some of the heavy-hitters in the division. Unless you have been living under a rock, he doesn’t waste any opportunity in going after former WBC champion Deontay “The Bronze Bomber” Wilder (42-1-1, 41ko).

When the Alabama hard-hitting heavyweight was defeated by newly crowned WBC champion Tyson “The Gypsy King” Fury (30-0-1, 21ko), Whyte quickly rebuffed an attempt by British promoter Eddie Hearn, via social media, to bypass the rematch clause for a UK mega-bout against unified champion Anthony “AJ” Joshua (23-1, 21ko).

Furthermore, the brash WBC mandatory has been calling out all of the big names in the division and was ready to fight former title contender Alexander Povetkin (35-2-1, 24ko) before the current crisis put a halt to everything.

TROLLING IS AN ART

Okay, so this is where things take off.

In a heated back and forth on social media, Whyte went after former unified champion Andy “The Destroyer” Ruiz Jr. (33-2, 22ko). Moreover, it was about the former champion turning down an offer for a fight. This later would lead to Ruiz’s ambiguous claim of not receiving an offer of five million dollars, which received an immediate response by the brash British heavyweight.

Well if you thought this was over, guess again.

The Destroyer would take to Instagram showing a video of him preparing the body for combat once the sport resumes and giving a stern warning for Whyte. However, you already know there was a very comical response.
