Ryan Garcia Turns his Trolling Toward Terence Crawford
Top junior welterweight contender “King Ry” Ryan Garcia (24-1, 20KO) is at it again with the trolling. This time he is going after unified welterweight champion Terence “Bud” Crawford (40-0, 31KO).
Boxing fans are raising their eyebrows at the latest social media post from Garcia, who out of nowhere is calling for a fight with Bud.
There is no way he is serious, especially considering Crawford is in the process of fighting for the junior middleweight titles. Garcia is trolling as usual but it’s beginning to become extremely tiresome.
Remember when King Ry quickly pointed the finger at WBC champion Devin Haney for low ticket sales. In addition, he claimed that there was nothing he could have done that contributed to the lack of sales.
Garcia’s antics have been the main cause for fans showing no interest in the fight. Being only days away from facing Haney, he is looking at a fight everyone knows won’t happen in Crawford. So, he has to take some level of responsibility for the low ticket sales as well.
Several pundits believe that Haney will come out victorious. Yet given the challenger’s antics, it could devalue the WBC champion’s win.
The fight with Haney takes place on April 20, and it will be interesting to see if Garcia has been pulling the wool over our eyes and scores the upset.
