Ryan Garcia warns Luke Campbell!
Ryan Garcia (20-0, 17KOs) is already gearing up for the promotional aspect of his upcoming WBC interim title fight with two-time title challenger Luke Campbell (20-3, 16KOs) in November. The social media star took to Twitter to let Campbell know he’s coming for what’s “his”. Campbell replied belittling Garcia’s threat.
This is a huge fight for both, as the winner will get at shot at the coveted WBC title against unbeaten champion Devin “The Dream” Haney (24-0, 15KOs) in 2021.
Garcia is known for his brash, confident trash talk as he has long proclaimed himself the best at 135. This moment will reveal a lot about the unbeaten contender, who’s faced little to no adversity in his young career. The opposite is the case for Campbell. He has shared the ring with Jorge Linares, Vasyl Lomachenko and Yvan Mendy. His amateur career would climax with a 2012 Olympic Gold Medal. Although he has yet to get over that world title hump as a professional, he possesses the skills and experience to hand Garcia his very first loss.
This fight will show us where both men stand, good or bad.
