Serrano to come out of a quick retirement for a Katie Taylor fight in 2019!

A huge mega-fight in women’s boxing could be happening late next year!

3kingsboxing.com has learned the six-division champion and her promoter Lou Dibella have agreed to a three fight co-promotional deal with Eddie Hearn.

On October 20, unified lightweight champion Katie Taylor defeated Cindy Serrano, the older sister of Amanda in a one-sided fight. Afterwards, Cindy’s trainer mentioned the presence of the pound for pound fighter sitting ringside. He also stated she would defeat Taylor if they fought.

In a separate interview, Amanda Serrano stated she would go back to boxing if the money was right.

It’s expected she will return to the ring in January against an opponent not yet determined. She recently announced her retirement from boxing to pursue mixed martial arts full time. However, she did leave the door open for a possible return to the sport, against big names only.

This news has to be music to boxing fans ears as two of the best fighters in their sport seem to be on a collision course.
