Undefeated Featherweight prospect Shakur Stevenson was arrested early Sunday morning in Miami after allegedly being involved in a brawl.
The alleged altercation occurred in a parking garage. Also involved was David Grayton, a professional boxer himself.
According to a police report, both Stevenson and Grayton made comments to a group that included two women. Whatever was said led to the alleged altercation.
The alleged victims males and females all had visible injuries that were treated by medical personnel.
Neither Stevenson or Grayton were at the scene when the police arrived, however both were later arrested at a nearby hotel. Stevenson reportedly sustained a cut on his lip and Grayton sustained cuts on his knuckle.
There were reportedly witnesses and the parking garages surveillance camera also captured the brawl.
Stevenson is scheduled to return to the ring against Mexico’s Carlos Ruiz (16-4-2, 6 KOs) on August 18 at Ocean Resort Casino in Atlantic City.
