Claressa Shields is serious about fighting Jake Paul
The self-proclaimed Greatest Woman Of All-Time Claressa “T-rex” Shields (10-0, 2ko) is serious about fighting YouTube sensation Jake “The Problem Child” Paul (2-0, 2ko).
Now, this all started on November 28, immediately following Paul’s meme-style knockout of former National Basketball Association player Nate Robinson. Social media went off the chain in overhyping this for more than what it was. Some even fans started throwing shots at fighters hinting that the same could happen to them.
Not everyone will take the topic of a man fighting a woman lightly, but Shields has made statements about beating up male fighters in the past. So to a certain degree, it is understandable why fans asked if she could beat the YouTube star.
SHIELDS IS SERIOUS ABOUT THE FIGHT
Now, by this time, we all know how this went down from here.
T-rex wasted little time in making it clear not only should Paul stick to fighting non-boxers, but she would quote “Beat the hell out of Jake Paul.”
Okay, shortly thereafter, the news would drop about the face of female boxing crossing over into the world of MMA. Moreover, this has been something the G.W.O.A.T has wanted to do since 2019 and has finally fulfilled that desire. So looking at 2021, things will be busy for the Flint champion.
Well, apparently, T-rex was not just talking or playing about fighting the YouTuber. Social media once again went wild when former pound for pound kingpin Floyd “Money” Mayweather officially announced a fight with Logan Paul, the older brother of Jake.
Both Paul brothers are YouTube personalities, and this announcement has many fans calling it a money grab. However, be that as it may, it has not prevented Shields from throwing out a proposal for a fight with “The Problem Child.”
