This unification has been talked about for quite sometime with both men publicly stating their desire to face each other. This is an important bout that will go a long way in determining a potential undisputed champion.
Spence is coming off a one-sided decision win over the previously unbeaten Mikey Garcia on March 16 for his third title defense in his hometown of Dallas, Texas.
As for Porter, he’s coming off a controversial win over top contender Yordenis Ugas the prior week on March 9 for his first title defense.
This matchu-up has “Fight of the Year Candidate” written all over it on paper based on the physical styles both men like to employ.
So buckle up everybody because we have a fight!
3kingsboxing.com will provide an update on the venue and date when that information materializes.
