Austin Trout vs Terrell Gausha set for a junior middleweight summer clash!
Former WBA junior middleweight champion Austin Trout will make his 2019 ring debut when he takes on Terrell Gausha May 25.
The fight will take place at Beau Rivage Resort Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi live on Fox Sports 1.
Trout is coming off a majority decision loss to former WBC champion Jermell Charlo back in June.
As for Gausha, he’s looking to position himself for another title opportunity. In 2017, he lost to former WBA champion Erislandy Lara. He bounced back with a victory over Joey Hernandez last December.
This is a crossroads battle that will see the loser fall further out of title contention and the winner remain in the hunt for another big opportunity.
