Dominic Valle Stays Undefeated But Needs to Get More Rounds In
In his latest tour of duty, rising super featherweight fighter Dominic Valle (13-0, 7 KO’s) claimed a unanimous decision win over Eduardo “Zurdito” Ramirez (29-6-3, 14 KO’s). For many in the audience, this was a rather distasteful outcome. This was due to the overall grueling and nip-and-tuck nature of the duel.
Despite the rather wide scorecards reading 96-94 and 98-92 (twice), Valle needs to be more active to help hone his craft. At this point, it will be intriguing to see who his team matches him with next. To date, Valle has accumulated a substantial amount of professional experience, which appears promising.
With the level of turbulence he traversed, tangling with the much more experienced Ramirez, it would not be surprising if he were placed with a slightly softer touch. Over the past two years, Valle has only fought two bouts per year; it may be a great idea to increase his volume of matches.
This is an important process in a young fighter’s career because it helps to develop them as a fighter. For example, when Valle started letting his hands go, he was effective. However, he seemed to have a hard time finding a rhythm, which is the result of a lack of activity.
With this being said, Valle needs to fight at least 3 more times in 2026.
