Gervonta Davis Goes AWOL Following Arrest Warrant News
The disappearance of multi-divisional champion Gervonta “Tank” Davis, following by a warrant for his arrest, could signal the end of his career. The Baltimore power-puncher had an abysmal 2025, and things haven’t gotten off to a good start for 2026.
Tank was looking to cash out with a big-money fight against YouTuber Jake Paul. However, he was hit with a domestic violence allegation suit, resulting in the fight being canceled. It seems things have taken a turn for the worse as a warrant for his arrest has been issued.
The WBA stripped Davis of the title and placed him as champion in recess after the warrant was revealed. To further complicate things, Tank has seemingly gone missing. This has resulted in the U.S. Marshall helping with the search for his whereabouts.
It’s almost certain that he won’t be fighting this year, considering the courts will undoubtedly restrict any movement. In addition, he could face some serious charges for being M.I.A. Plus, the domestic violence case could take up the majority of his time.
The one thing Tank has shown is that the more idle time he has, the more trouble he seems to get into. Keep in mind, he went through this before and was placed on house arrest. This time though, the court system may not show any leniency. All of these things come with serious consequences. We may have seen the last of Tank in the ring.
