Deontay Wilder claims he’ll still face Anthony Joshua!

Just when you thought Andy Ruiz put an end to the Deontay Wilder vs Anthony Joshua talks after his colossal upset win claim three of the four heavyweight titles on June 1, think again!

While on tour in the UK, Wilder was asked if there was any chance that he’d still face the former unbeaten champion. His answer was yes!

Deontay Wilder Speaks

“People ask me if I will fight AJ and I say a loss is not the end of the road.

“There is enough room for everyone to get in with everyone and before I retire I want to say I was in with the best.”

So there you have it! There’s still very much a chance that these two men face-off in a fight that still has high intrigue, despite the loss by Joshua.

That comes as no surprise as the British fighter is still a big money draw and is capable of selling out arenas in the UK.

Joshua has a chance to redeem himself in a planned rematch against Ruiz later this year. If successful the demand for this fight would go right back into overdrive, especially if Joshua looks dominant.

It appears that whatever happens in the rematch, we may still see two of the three most talked about heavyweights fight at some point in their careers!
