Ammo Williams Makes Short Work of Quatavious Cash
After nine months out of the ring, southpaw middleweight Austin “Ammo” Williams (9-0, 7 KO’s) made a successful return to action. The Wisconsin native accomplished this by stopping Quatavious Cash (14-3, 8 KO’s) in he second round of their collision.
For Cash, this was his fourth bout of the year. His last affair ended in a no contest after an accidental headbutt left his opponent, Antonio Todd, unable to proceed. Clearly Williams was too big a leap in opposition. With Quatavious Cash now out of the way, Williams, who is signed to Matchroom Boxing, will now try to secure some bigger named rivals.

ONE-HITTER QUITTER
Once sealed in the ring with one another, Williams casually assassinated Cash’s equilibrium with one sharp left hook. Directly before the blow landing, Ammo was cautiously encroached into punching range. Once there, he let the fight-ending shot go. The hard punch landed flush on the side of Cash’s head and rocked his head back. Obviously impaired, Cash leaned back comically far like a drunk in a television sitcom.
To his credit, the hook itself did not put him on the canvas, yet he did go down after a brief clinch. Regardless of how he got on the canvas, the third man in the ring called a stop to the action. It was a good call because even as he walked off protesting, it was clear that Cash was still hurt and off balance.
