Williams makes easy work of Robinson!
WBO mandatory Liam “The Machine” Williams (23-2-1, 18KOs) absolutely destroyed Andrew Robinson (24-5-1, 7KOs) in one round! Williams is looking to face WBO middleweight champion Demetrius “Boo Boo” Andrade (29-0, 18KOs) in 2021. Going in, he knew he had take care of business against Robinson first.
Once the bell rang, Williams came forward behind his jab. He immediately landed two hard right-hands that buckled his adversary’s knees. Moments later, a clash of heads would open a cut over the left eye of Robinson.
After the action resumed, The Machine went on the attack, pinned Robinson on the ropes, and unleashed a vicious left hook to the body that put him down for the count.
After this performance, it is clear that Williams is ready to challenge Andrade and attempt to become the new WBO middleweight champion.
