WBA super flyweight champion Kal Yafai to defend his title against Israel Gonzalez.
Yafai will step back into the ring on November 24. He will be looking to make the fourth defense of his WBA title when he takes on Israel Gonzalez.
In his last fight Yafai (24-0, 15 KOs) made his US debut stopping David Carmona in seven rounds. He was previously linked to a possible fight with former P4P king Roman Gonzalez. However, nothing materialized.
His opponent, Gonzalez (23-2, 10 KOs), may sound familiar. He fought IBF super flyweight champion Jerwin Ancajas back in February, losing via tenth round TKO. Gonzalez is on a two-fight win streak since suffering that loss to Ancajas, recently beating Daniel Arturo Vega by a second round knockout in August.
