Zab Judah Recap and Results from Canada

Judah wins by unanimous decision

Former undisputed welterweight world champion Zab Judah, 44-9, 30 KO, climbed back in the ring for the first time since January of 2017 on Saturday night at the Grey Eagle Resort and Casino in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He scored a unanimous ten round decision win over Mexican journeyman Noel Mejia Rincon, 21-14-1, 12 KO.

Judah hurt Rincon in the second and went on to outbox him for the rest of the fight. All three judges scored the fight 99-91 for Judah.

Tonight marked just the second time Judah has fought since December of 2013. He has long talked about one “last hurrah” but after so much time away at the age of 40 and 53 professional fights it seems like a long shot at best. However after tonight’s fight, Judah announced he’d be back in Calgary to fight again in April.
