Adrien Broner ready for Regis Prograis!
Four-division world champion Adrien “The Problem” Broner (34-1-1, 24KOs) returned to the ring after a two year layoff to pick up his first win since 2017. Facing off with the previously unknown and unbeaten Jovanie Santiago (14-1-1, 10KOs), Broner would win the fight by unanimous decision.
In his post-fight press conference, Broner was asked about potentially facing off with former WBA junior welterweight champion Regis Prograis (25-1, 21KOs). The two have gone back and forth throughout the media for over a year, hurling insults towards one another. Now with Prograis aligned with PBC and Al Haymon, the fight seems like a real possibility.

BRONER READY TO FUCK PROGRAIS UP!
“Prograis?! Man like I always tell everybody and I always tell everybody this, he’s yelling my name, he’s only doing what he’s supposed to do. But like I always tell him just keep doing your thing. I wish him nothing but the best every time he fights. You know I hope he wins.
“But like I said if he get in the ring with me, I’m gon’ fuck him up!”
Broner on if a fight with Prograis is next.
“Maybe not next, I don’t see that next. But if it do come next, it don’t matter. I’m gon’ win. I’m gone fuck buddy up.”
For all of Broner’s shortcomings and unfulfilled promises, his willingness to fight the best cannot be questioned. Throughout his career he has shown an ability to fight fire with fire against some of the biggest punchers in recent memory. A fight with Prograis would be explosive with both men having their fair share of defensive flaws.
If nothing of major significance materializes for either man, this would suffice as a quality matchup between two former world champions.
