Aleem ready to sign for the title fight

Undefeated junior featherweight Raeese “The Beast” Aleem (17-0, 11ko) is ready and waiting for a chance to dethrone a champion. The Michigan native could get his wish sooner than later. Furthermore, in a rematch from 2018 against Marcus Bates (11-2-1, 8ko), in August 2020, the undefeated boxer win the WBA title eliminator bout that has sent the wheels in motion on the path to an eventual championship showdown.

Now, it has become a waiting game in which like many challengers, the #2 rated WBA contender is staying ready and wants to step in the squared circle with any champion in the division. Moreover, looking at the division, it is stacked with talent, and soon the aforementioned fighter may find himself in the ring with unified champion Murodjon “MJ” Akhmadaliev (8-0, 6ko).

During an interview with 3kingsboxing affiliate Rick Mohamed from Brawler Sports Media, the undefeated Michigan boxer was not shy about speaking on behind-the-scenes talks and wants the fans to understand there will not be any complications on his side about signing to fight any of the champions in the division.

“There has been a lot of talks behind the scenes, trying to work things out, trying to make things happen. At the end of the day, I am ready to fight any of the world champions right now. As soon as they’re ready to step up to the plate and make it happen, boom. Hey, I got the pen, there is no bullshit on my side.”

Aleem would also talk about wanting to fight before the year was out. However, since that does not seem to be in the cards, then hopefully something will materialize for next year. However, regardless of the wait, the championship opportunity is coming.

“I was hoping December. I haven’t heard nothing, so okay, early next year, early January 2021, I’m ready. Everything is coming together, I just have to stay on my grind and shit, get a fight date.”
