Cherneka Johnson Defends Titles Against Galle in Bloody Duel

Undisputed Bantamweight Champion Johnson Beats Galle By UD

To close out the year, undisputed bantamweight champion Cherneka “Sugar Neekz” Johnson (19-2, 8 KO’s) defeated Amanda Galle (12-1-1, 1 KO) by way of unanimous decision. It was her third duel of the year and the only contest that went the distance. As has become a staple of her bouts, this match with Galle was also another bloody affair.

Now that this match is a thing of her past, it will be interesting to see in what direction the champion looks to go in. She naturally could stay put and be greeted with ample opposition in the form of the many mandatory challengers that she has waiting. Sugar Neekz could also very well opt to return to the super bantamweight division.

Unfortunately, at the moment there is not much information on which way Team Johnson is going to move next. With this being the case, we will just have to wait until the Australian import regroups and makes a formal announcement.
