Chris Eubank Causes A Riot After Hitting Conor Benn With An Egg


In his upcoming fight against arch-rival Conor “The Destroyer” Benn (23-0, 14KO), Chris Eubank Jr (34-3, 25KO) needs to win or be ready to suffer heavy public humiliation.

It was the slap heard throughout boxing as Eubank smacked Benn in the face with an egg. Security immediately jumped in to prevent a serious fight from breaking out as an irate Benn wanted badly to get at his arch-rival.

Undoubtedly, Eubank still remembers when The Destroyer blamed eggs for testing positive for a banned substance. It was the main reason for their fight cancelation in 2022.

While speaking to the commentating team Matchroom Boxing’s chairman Eddie Hearn issued a severe warning to Eubank.

“What I am saying to you now is listen, the game the game…don’t worry about it being a step over. It’s done. What I’m saying now is all bets are off…It’s on sight.”

HE NEEDS TO WIN OR ELSE

It is obvious Eubank did this to get into the head of his arch-rival. Benn could be so mad that instead of executing a game plan, goes into the ring fighting like a wildman.

In this author’s opinion, Eubank has turned this into a must-win situation. He has to have a mental edge after hitting Benn in the face. In addition, he enjoy’s the height, reach, power advantage, and the fight is at middleweight puts him in the driver seat.

Eubank is coming off an impressive knockout performance against Kamil Szeremeta in 2024. After pulling a stunt like this he can’t afford to lose the at all. Boxing fans will attack him like a pack of wild dogs chasing a wounded animal.

These two fighters have traded insults over the last couple of years, now more than ever this fight has grabbed the attention of the boxing public. Boxing fans can catch all the action live on DAZN in the United Kingdom on April 26.
