Daniel Dubois Denies Shoving Joe Joyce Was Out of Character!
Rising heavyweight prospect Daniel Dubois (14-0, 13KOs) will partake in the biggest fight of his young career when he steps in the ring with fellow unbeaten British heavyweight prospect Joe Joyce (10-0, 9KOs) on April 11.
A man of very few words, he appeared to come out of character as he pushed Joyce at the conclusion of their press conference while the two men were posing face to face.
Or was he “in-character”?
Speaking to iFL TV the man known as “Dynamite” divulged on his unexpected shove of Joyce.
“No, not at all! I’m a fighter through and through. It’s under there the monster, the beast is ready to come out and wreak havoc! I’m just prepared to do as I’ve done before and score a devastating victory.”
With him and Joyce getting physical already, even if it was just simply a shove, both men have styles that point to an explosive night of action when they step in the ring on April 11.
It’s clear that Dubois means business and may be taking this fight more personal than any other fight in his career. Regardless of the motivation behind his shove, he’s a man on a mission and Joyce is standing in his way.
April 11 can’t get here fast enough!
