Eric Tudor Scored An Impressive Stoppage Over Roddricus Livsey
Welterweight prospect Eric Tudor (11-1, 7KO) obliterated Roddricus Livsey (12-3-1, 9KO) in the first round.
Tudor came out in blistering fashion, throwing punches in bunches. The younger, faster, and stronger Floridan was cranking the jab like a machine.
Realizing he was the superior fighter, Tudor mixed up the attack by landing different variations of the right hand. He even made sure to finish every combination with a body shot.
Tudor was money with that jab and landed a right hand to the body that sent Livsey to the canvas. The referee reached the count of ten as the 41-year-old was crawling around the ring.
This was a clear mismatch. However, Tudor did the right thing by getting his man out of the fight early.
Tudor is very talented and has a future in the welterweight division. It may be time to step up the level of competition as he is ready to take that next step.
