Errol Spence v Danny Garcia Set For November!
As we here at 3kingsboxing previously reported, two-division world champion Danny “Swift” Garcia (36-2, 21KOs) revealed that he would be facing either unified welterweight champion Errol “The Truth” Spence (26-0, 21KOs) or WBA champion Manny “Pac Man” Pacquiao (62-7-2, 39KOs) in the fall.
Now it looks like the two-division champ will have his hand at Errol Spence Jr in November! The Truth returns for the first time since his September 2019 unification clash against former WBC champion Shawn “Showtime” Porter (30-3-1, 17KOs).
He and Garcia immediately set a fight date for January 25, 2020 post Spence’s win over Porter. However, a horrific car accident in October 2019 for Spence would postpone the bout.
Now healthy, the unified champ is going straight into a dangerous fight against a battle-tested former champion. This is no surprise as Spence has consistently stated he intended to take on top competition upon his return.
The fight will be on pay-per-view, which will mark the third consecutive for the Texas native.
3kingsboxing.com will continue to monitor this story and provide updates once an official announcement is confirmed.
