O’Shaquie Foster Gets MD Over Ford Then Confronts Stevenson
In his latest prizefight, WBC super featherweight champion O’Shaquie “Ice Water” Foster (25-3, 12 KO’s) defeated his bitter rival, “Savage” Raymond Ford (18-2-1, 8 KO’s) by majority decision. The final tally held the scores of 114-114, 118-110 and 116-112 in favor of Foster.
Having successfully collected Ford’s scalp, Foster has already set sights on his next would-be opponent. If he had a genie’s lamp, his first wish would be to face WBO super lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson. Stevenson was on hand for the event and was quickly confronted by Foster after hopping in the ring. In the moment, Stevenson did agree to face Ice Water next in a very heated exchange.
Minding the discrepancy in weight, Foster volunteered to go up and meet Stevenson at his current 140-pound division. Ice Water was also open to clash in the middle at 135-pounds. First though, let’s see if the match is actually signed and can become more than just an entertaining fracas at the end of a fight.
