Garcia Ordered By The IBF To Face Baranchyk

Garcia must vacate one of his titles

The International Boxing Federation (IBF) has just order Mikey Garcia to defend his belt against Ivan Baranchyk. Garcia just won the IBF  Super Lightweight Title on Saturday night with a unanimous decision victory over Sergey Lipinets.

The IBF has also given Garcia an ultimatum either vacate his WBC Lightweight Title or his IBF Super Lightweight Title. Garcia has 10 days to make a decision or they may strip him of his belt.

Baranchyk became the mandatory when he beat Petr Petrov in a title eliminator on Friday night during the undercard of the Regis Prograis vs Julius Indongo fight.

As soon as 3kingsboxing.com gets more information about what Garcia and his team decide to do we will report it.
