3kingsboxing.com has learned the IBF has ordered a Featherweight final eliminator bout between Kid Galahad (24-0, 15 KOs) and Toka Kahn Cleary (25-1, 17 KOs).
Galahad, a 28 year old UK fighter, has been waiting for an opportunity like this one. He currently holds the IBF Intercontinental Featherweight champion. He is coming off of two knock outs in a row. Combined with his #3 ranking, he is within arm’s reach of the champion.
Clary, a 26 year old from Rhode Island, is currently ranked #9 in the IBF rankings. Following his first career loss back in 2016, he has been on a six-fight win streak . In 2017, he surprised everyone with his upset victories over then-undefeated fighters John Vincent Moralde and David Berna. This resulted in him winning the WBA-NABA Featherweight title.
Both men have decent power and are looking to advance their careers. This bout will determine the mandatory for undefeated title holder Josh Warrington. A purse bid for the match has been made for July 31st.
